Clients staff and partners joined in to support as a main sponsor, the Pytchley Point to Point Horse Races at Guilsborough Northamptonshire. In front of 3,000 race goers, the Elevation party enjoyed a highly competitive 7 race card.
The Pytchley provided a lovely blend of competitive racing with a very relaxed atmosphere, set within the beautiful amphitheater of the Northamptonshire rolling hills. ‘Management’ were responsible for providing the traditional ‘car boot picnic ‘ which we think was enjoyed by all.
Elevation had the pleasure of sponsoring the 3.40pm mixed open race, with Fiona Myatt (London Client Services) and Kieran Reid (Birmingham Apprentice) having the privilege of making the presentations to the winning jockey.
There were no reports of serious losses, but returns were volatile. The lawyers present were still reading the small print when the race had finished! The accountants showed little appetite for risk – unlike their turf accountant cousins, and the fund managers present noticeably hedged, and betted each way (no change there then)!
