Elevation Golf Day 2019

By December 2, 2019August 25th, 2020EVENTS

We hosted the annual Elevation golf day at the Belfry on Friday 1st November.

Building on last year’s success a mix of staff, clients and professional connections joined us for another fantastic day. The Brabazon was in great nick and the rumour was a couple of balls may have gone in the water during the day!!

There was a 280 yard long drive, kick in birdie putt for the closest to the pin and whilst no one emulated Seve on the 10th, a few got close and just missed out in the brook!

The ethos of the day was to have some fun on a wonderful course with fantastic heritage. The feedback and stories from the day echoed this to a tee.

After a couple of well-deserved drinks in Sam’s bar we alighted to the Ryder room for dinner. Our celebrations did not quite rival the scenes witnessed after past Ryder Cup glories, but we certainly enjoyed a fantastic dinner, and toasted to a great day.

Elevation are a proud supporter of the Cyrille Regis Legacy Trust and Julia Regis joined us on the day for the golf and dinner, where we hosted an auction in support of this fantastic charity. David Yelloly, friend of Cyrille and one of the charities Trustees kicked off the auction by recounting his very fond memories of Cyrille, and the great work the charity undertakes in his memory. We were delighted all the lots were taken and £2,391 was raised for the Trust. Speaking with Julia, this will go a long way towards helping the trust deliver their intended programme. It costs approximately £3,500 for the Trust to run the programme with 1 foundation. The foundations are currently linked to each Football Club involved.

Our thanks go to everyone who attended, and to the team at the Belfry for looking after us all so well and facilitating such a great day.

Here’s to next year!!
