Adam has over 30 years of experience as an IFA and in July 2025 joined Elevation’s London Team, accompanied by a loyal client base which he has developed over the years.
He graduated from the University of St Andrews in English and taught at Eton for 5 years before realising that teaching didn’t pay the rent. He then retrained as an insurance broker and joined the family IFA and general insurance broking firm in 1989, eventually becoming Managing Director before selling the business 10 years later. He has focussed solely on being an IFA since 1999.
Adam lives in Barnes in South-West London, is divorced, but has two daughters from that marriage and is about to become a grandfather for the second time, which makes him feel extremely old. He enjoys travelling, listening to all sorts of music, reading and supports two teams, both of which have a “Shed” stand at their grounds: Chelsea and Gloucester Rugby. It must be some form of karma
